Office Manager Appointed

Bob Tait, Kinross Curling Chairman, made the following announcement today:

I am delighted to advise members that, after advertising, Angela Wilcox has been appointed Office Manager with effect from 28th June. This is a part time post intended to help the business to develop and to operate more effectively and to lessen the burden on Board members.  She will be part of the staff team reporting to Jim Barton, Operations Director.

Under Article 6 of our constitution Angela cannot, as an employee of the Trust, remain a Board member, and will step down on 28th June when she takes up her post. I would like to thank Angela for her very significant contribution as a Board member over the past year and look forward to working with her as a member of staff over the coming years.

We are currently working through an interview process in respect of the Curling Development Manager post, and I will advise of the outcome shortly.
